Founded in 2020, Premier is a minority-owned logistics solutions organization based in Miami Township, Ohio. Premier is focused on simplifying shipping needs and identifying open capacity to efficiently deliver cargo. Premier specializes in developing custom solutions for complex supply chain challenges for various shipping services, including truckload, reefer, intermodal, less than truckload (LTL), and flatbed.

Premier's challenges included negotiating with multiple states and the attainment of incentives, while also seeking to offset its immediate and long-term operational costs.

KMKC managed the incentive analysis and review, while also conducting negotiations between multiple states including Florida, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Ohio. Premier's emphasis on training and retaining a productive and talented workforce was a key element of its expansion project. KMKC worked to ensure the incentives were targeted to support these workforce initiatives. KMKC generated creative solutions to help offset the company's immediate and long-term operational costs. With multiple real estate transactions pending and important decisions on where to secure the company's future growth, KMKC acted swiftly to secure a range of incentives to capture the company's future performance and real-time need for training its workforce. Premier's Miami Township expansion is set to double its workforce in Clermont County by retaining 25 jobs and adding 42 more. This retains a payroll of $1.62M and creates additional payroll of $3.93M. Premier is determined to make a capital investment of $125K for the project.
