KMK Consulting Company Managing Director Brandon E. Simmons Appointed to Economic Development Committee at Alloy Development Co.
KMK Consulting Company LLC (“KMKC”) is pleased to announce that Brandon E. Simmons, Managing Director, was recently appointed to the Economic Development Committee at Alloy Development Co., formerly known as Hamilton County Development Company “HCDC”. The Economic Development Committee is an advisory group to the department of Economic Development and provides input on their activities.
“I’m excited to join the committee of proven experts, professionals, and even better people,” said Simmons. “Alloy has served as a change agent for the region and Hamilton County in a positive way for a long time. I’m grateful for the opportunity and look forward to lending my experience and partnerships for the greater good in Hamilton County.”
Simmons leads KMK Consulting’s site selection and incentive negotiation offerings for the company’s corporate clients in the Cincinnati region and across the country. Prior to joining KMKC, Simmons served as the Vice President of Project Management at REDI Cincinnati driving job creation and capital investment in the Cincinnati region. In 2021, as a member of REDI Cincinnati’s executive team, Simmons was named one of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers by Consultant Connect. Simmons also helped the organization achieve their second highest annual performance in the organization's history in 2021. Prior to joining REDI Cincinnati, Simmons served as JobsOhio Director of Project Management, Director for the Cleveland Area and Senior Project Manager. In these previous roles at a state and regional level, Simmons directly managed, supported, or provided advisory to 713 projects/companies, resulting in $16.2 billion in new fixed-asset investment; 58,391 new jobs; and $2.9 billion in new payroll commitments for Ohio. Simmons has spent the last decade within the unique private non-profit economic development model where he led engagement with elected officials, state and local governments, and private sector entities to further advance the public/private partnerships within the state of Ohio. Throughout his career he has seen success partnering with small, middle market, and Fortune 1,000 company representatives across various industries.
